Our service

This website (solarpanelsaberdeen.solar, trading as Aberdeen Solar North) is operated by Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd, trading also as Scottish Energy Efficiency. We are a renewable energy consultancy and introducer service. We do not carry out installations, quotes, surveys, or technical work ourselves. Quotes, surveys, and installations are arranged with and delivered by independent installation partners who hold their own MCS, TrustMark, RECC, and NICEIC accreditations.

No contract for installation works

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract between you and Aberdeen Solar North, Scottish Energy Efficiency, or Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd for installation works. Any contract for installation is between you and the installation company that quotes for your project.

Accreditation

Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd does not itself hold MCS, TrustMark, RECC, or NICEIC accreditation. These accreditations are held by our installation partners.

Information accuracy

Savings figures, payback periods, grant amounts, oil-vs-electricity cost comparisons, and pricing are indicative based on typical Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire property profiles and May 2026 market data. Oil prices in particular are highly volatile — actual savings depend on current oil price at the time of installation. Actual quotes depend on property assessment by our installer partners.

Grant information

Grant amounts cited (HES heat pump grant, rural uplift, 0% VAT) are based on published guidance current at the time of publication. Eligibility, amounts and scheme rules are subject to change. Verify current grant status with Home Energy Scotland at homeenergyscotland.org.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, your dealings with installation partners, or the works carried out by installation partners. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
