Who we are

Aberdeen Solar North is a trading name of Scottish Energy Efficiency, operated by Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd (Company Number [CRN]) with registered office at Unit 3 Prospect III, Prospect Business Centre, Dundee DD2 1TY. We are a renewable energy consultancy and introducer service. We do not carry out installations ourselves. Installations are delivered by our network of pre-vetted, fully-accredited installation partners.

Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry, we collect: name, contact details (phone, email, postcode), property type, monthly electricity bill, current heating (especially relevant for oil-heated NE Scotland properties), and renewable energy interests. We also collect technical information automatically via cookies and analytics.

How we use your information

With your consent, we match you with installation partners, pass your enquiry for free quotes, send follow-up communications, and improve our service. Our installation partners are separate data controllers.

Article 6(1)(a) consent and Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interest.

Who we share your data with

Installation partners in our pre-vetted network; Google (GTM/Analytics where consented); Zapier Inc. (USA) for automated data routing. Transfers outside the UK are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data 24 months from last contact. Analytics data 26 months.
